Re: Replacing the rear shock on my 88 Honda elite SA50 LX

Well tonight i removed the old shock from the scooter. I held the new spring next to the shock and the new spring is about an inch longer. I dont think its possable to compress it enough to get it back on. Then i tried to see if i could get the shock apart but i dont think its possable again with ou...

Re: daywot (now Censored)

Its pretty simple choice on the variator. Call VTcycles and order it. Daywot's keli variator does not come with a ramp plate or guides. You can use your stock plate and guides but it may not work or fit as well as one made for the variator. You may beable to get a ramp plate from daywot as well, but...

Re: daywot (now sensored)

I've emailed him a couple of times about the keli variator he sells and never got a response from him. All i wanted to know is if it would work with my scoot and if it came with the ramp plate.

Re: daywot (now sensored)

Well thats how the world goes around.. someones gota make a profit or whats the point in selling it? Obviously buying it straight from the manufacturer is going to be cheaper.. though most of the time you have to buy large volume to get a cheaper price.

If i do need a spring compressor, is this something i have ...

Re: Seriously bad gas milage.. WTH

I filled the tank to that cross bar near the top of the inside of the tank. Its an all stock elite except the OKO variator in it. I've just added new tires and cleaned the carb.. it looked clean though and i even pulled the main jet out and looked it over and can see light threw all of the holes. Ti...

Its just about on E now.. the needle is right next to the red zone and the mileage is 3985. 30 miles only on a tank of gas??? Maybe 50 if i le...

Re: SB VS. SA

You can look here for a brand new carb.. Will cost alot more then buying a used one though.

My 01 SA50 bogs alittle at first before its warmed it.. then its fine.

Re: Quick carb connection question

I'm lost with what you said.. The connection on the bystarter is for the throttle? PO? Is that "Previous owner"?? Ignore what I said - I thought that was a different carb. Looks like the breather outlet IS molded into the bystarter cover on that one. Which model and year is it? Tha...
