Re: Problems with corsa build. HELP! lol
Alright got an update for you guys, it's not much but it's at least what appears to be some progress. I sanded down the exhaust flange and reinstalled the copper o exhaust gasket that came with the corsa and it seems like the exhaust leak is gone. I had it idling and was playing around with it on th...

Variator installation
Alright so taking the variator off is a breeze because I just use an impact wrench and zip it right off. But as most of us know, it isn't a good idea to tighten the nut with the impact wrench because it can damage the crank etc etc. What do you guys use to keep the variator from turning? I know it s...

Buying first motorcycle!
Hey guys. Thinking about buying a motorcycle sometime within the upcoming couple of months and so I wanna start looking through Craigslist. Just had a couple of questions and I know there are a lot of long time riders here. First of all, I'm going to be getting a sport bike and am debating between t...

Re: Problems with corsa build. HELP! lol
Just an update. Really sucks that I still haven't been able to get this thing running yet.... Really want to figure this out. Last weekend I had some time finally and so I went in there and did some stuff. Started with a carb soak and clean since I haven't had this thing running for a while. Then I ...

Re: New gears are binding....
I don't think the 2 metal washers is necessary. I just added 8.44 gears to my 2000 elite and it worked fine with the washers that came stock.

Re: New gears are binding....
Check to make sure the bearing in the case is pressed all the way in. I had the same issue and couldn't figure it out and it ended up being the bearing. Just put a socket over the bearing and get it a tap to seat it. I really doubt you bent the shaft unless you were doing something crazy. And you ha...

Re: 2000 Mystic Purple Elite build (70.1 mph)
Seems like you always have really low max temps. Curious if you think a smaller main would work better.

Re: Do I need to remove the kick-start to derestrict my Dio?
Just take off the cover. Don't mess with the kick start lever. There's some screws around the case that need to come off. I suggest you read over the manual, it has pictures and instructions and will help you a lot. I'm on my phone so I don't have the manual link but I'm sure someone will post it fo...

Re: looking to vacation in hawaii
Hmmmm if you're trying to stay away from the city then I would probably say don't go to Oahu. Big island is kind of boring in my opinion and there isn't really much to do there besides the beach. Kauai is really nice if you're just looking to lounge at nice beaches and chill in nature. I think Maui...

Re: Problems with corsa build. HELP! lol
New CHT wire and crank seals should arrive next week. Gonna replace the seals and sand down the PG exhaust flange in order to eliminate possibility of leaks. Will check back once that's done.

Re: Problems with corsa build. HELP! lol
Alright guys, been away from the boards for a while. Motor wasn't running right and the wire on the CHT broke so I got a little frustrated and decided to take a break but I'm back now! Really hoping to get this thing running like a champ soon! Going to order new crank seals and replace those because...
