Re: Tools needed to fix anything on a 50cc honda scooter.
X2 on the final drive. Also handy for stuck rims. The blind hole should not be a sealed bearing. you are right, I just suck at explaining things, I meant a sealed type as its not a tapper type with a separate race. the actual bearing replacements I had were sealed bearings with the seals removed, i...

Re: Tools needed to fix anything on a 50cc honda scooter.
how did you use this on a scooter? To get the crank out after splitting the cases. Maybe, but I didnt use it for that. When I was replacing the bearings in the final drive unit/gearbox (a sealed tye of bearing), one was so naft that the inner race popped out and the outer race was left behind, it w...

Re: K&N vs UNI Air Filter
Hey Ayden, Personally, dry conditions the K&N, but if its wet I dont think the K&N would be up to the task. In which case I would use 2 UNI filters with the mud sleeve. the second filter as a back up in case its starts to clog up and make it run rich or not at all, thats a whole lotta ks to ...

Re: NQ50 build , nothing to lose , heaps to gain
A little unorthodox..... like my paint job...... its epoxy resin with black pigment........ Thought I would give it a go, the resin has a bit of flex, bonds rather well, and the fact that you feet will be rubbing up and down there all day long, I think it should hold up a bit better than my other op...

Did you clean the carb again as per the page given? If there was crud in the main jet there will be crud in other places you dont want it. Did you replace the fuel lines? Did you bleed the oil lines when you took them off and on? (replace these while you are at it), they need to be bled as it can ta...
