Re: Post big bore tuning
Obnoxious noise as in around 8grand (just an estimate without having a tach) sounds like the piston wants to shoot out of the jug! Started with kit and just seemed to get louder with more miles put on it. Wheelman, no shame, I don't think I remembered to include I was still using the pump in my firs...

Re: Post big bore tuning
Forgot to mention previously that I am running a 2.75 on the rear. As well as during break in at the beggining I had tons more get up and go, also hit 40 at half throttle.... Feel like break in almost broke it now with less power and a ton more obnoxious noise. I know my jet number was wrong when I ...

Re: Post big bore tuning
Best possible plug reading I could get was WOT and darn near doing a front flip after killing the engine and slamming both breaks, should my color be slightly darker or is this fine?

Post big bore tuning+all my Newb questions
Seeking advice! I know I know should have done a motor swap but I pulled the trigger before consulting here. It's an 85 spree with 48mm bbk, three 1in holes drilled in air box with one and a half covered with electrical tape currently. After market plug wire and ignition due to original baking and b...

Re: Exhaust options
Should my stock exhaust feel as it has virtually no resistance through it or any suggestions on how to test if that's even possible.

Exhaust options
So next thing I think I need to address is the spree exhaust. Bike is an 85 with 48mm currently "breaking" in. I've used the search option here and asked on a Facebook group as well but have dead ended at the MLM pipe. Is that seriously the only after market exhaust available? I've seen ot...

Re: New member here!
Snapped a quick pic before I left this morning, shows current state with kickstart and glovebox together along with new seat cover. Seat cover is the one you can find on eBay with the range of color options for lettering and piping and I would say if anyone is considering it, don't hesitate! Made pr...

Re: Low dollar to high dollar budget estimates to use a 48mm
As for reporting back on tonight, made no changes to anything as I was pretty busy around the house prepping for my little guys birthday party this weekend, snapped a pic of the air box lid, and did a quick 3 mile cruise but had no chance to pull the plug. Ran great until I got down to the red on th...
