Re: no go on run

How much compression do you have? You said it's good but did not give a number.

"The ÔÇ£idling stop system,ÔÇØ which automatically stops the engine when the motorcycle comes to a temporary stop, was adopted to improve fuel economy (except for the U.S. model.)"

Yeah my Spree has that too it's called a kill switch and a start button. However mine is manual. :bowrofl:

Re: What is the value of a 2001 SA50 motor?

Wow, this guy was jacked up. As it turns out it's a some what a complete elite sr. Frame, motor, rear plastic - middle piece, good tires and rims, forks, wiring harness, handle bars, throttle tube, head light, gas tank w/no rust, oil tank. Every thing else is trashed, broke, junk! No carb, or exhaus...

What is the value of a 2001 SA50 motor?

I have a chance to pick up a 2001 SA50 motor with 3,500 miles on it. A complete motor with carburetor and exhaust. It has been sitting for years and I don't know the compression. He said make offer.

Re: Spree cylinder is out of spec

I have 2 Spree's one has a TAZ 44mm kit coming in the mail. But on this one I would like to bore it. I can get either a .25 or .50 92 SA50 piston and rings from my Honda dealer. I will bore it at school next week so I need to know what size I should go to.

Spree cylinder is out of spec

My 87 Spree cylinder w/letter "C" measures 41.47mm, service limit is 41.050.

Is my cylinder too worn to use?

My compression is 79psi, will new rings fix my compression?

$1.17 cost me this!

That was the price of a new clip. I used the old one. The cylinder is now junk also since Honda stopped production of their over-sized pistons. This is off of a 85 Spree, will a cylinder form a 87 Spree fit? What dose the number inside of the exhaust port mean? And the letter stamped on the exhaust ...
