I had the same issue with the same exact gears from him. I was worried about removing any washers and having unecessary friction. I ended up sanding the outside casing where the nipple on the smaller gear inserts in its hole. Basically taking out the same amount of meat as a washer. Found out later ...

Meatball. I believe that carb has the steel square shaped nuts inserted so he wouldnt be tightening into soft alloy. But good point if there not present tighten with care.

Yep taz is right. High idle typically means too much air. Also make sure the air/fuel mixture screw is correct. Shoud be around 1-1.5 turns out from all the way in. However weather and altitude can effect what ur bike likes.

Go no bigger than a 21mm carb. 17.5- 19mm would be ideal. Scooterswapshop.com has polini cp carbs. There the best. Easy tuning.

You will neeed the after market throttle cable that he sells. Unless you heavily modify the stock one, which i can't even begin explain that process. I also have the 21mm cp carb, i believe it came with a 100 main. Jetting will depend on ur bbk, intake and pipe? U said 89elite, is it dio swapped or ...

Even if its listed as Tubeless those tires work fine, but obviously still need to use the tube. I have one mounted now.

I held that beautiful pipe in my hand right b4 he put it in the shipping box to you. That thing is the real deal! You can really feel the quality. Can't wait to see some vids of that combo destroying on the drag!

Spray some wd-40 under the plastic cap to loosen up the plastic, and dissolve the grit. (Good solvent). It should then pop off with some wiggling. Pull up.
