Re: Starter Motors
any variated af05e starter should work 86 aero. not 85, theyre different. and i think any vertical dio starters. i think i swapped an af18 onto an af05e. not sure about the af16 though. someone else might chime in

Re: Gyro - general thread
. The nature of the Gyro seems to be that I mostly drive it WOT everywhere I go. I think this is every gyro and spree owners thoughts. lol next to my stock express, theyre the slowest things I got! but the gyros are also 2 of my funnest scoots to ride. I think its gotta be a carbon build up...

Re: Gyro - general thread
d*** Mike. shes a beaut. it has the petcock knob/lever. do you have the little flat cover that bolts above muffler? only other possibility as to the high muffler temps could it be carbon filled? if blocked with carbon it would retain the heat and holding the exhaust in would do the same? mine had 30...

Re: Gyro - general thread
I wish I could compare notes. but mine didn't have an engine cover when I got it. I bought a honda joy tb08 cover and mounted it on my 84. all mounting points matched up where the cover mounted. I made some spacers to mount the 235/30-10 tires on it. I think I only have the back spacers still on it ...

Re: anyone jetted a oko 21mm with a bbk? Have some questions.
im so jealous. you got a gyro up motor . I like the looks of the 84-86 nn and tg better but you hands down have the better drivetrain. vertical cylinder, power to both rear wheels, a variator, 4 bolt intake, bigger ports, and bigger stroke, plus actual aftermarket parts. compaired to the us engine, ...

Re: anyone jetted a oko 21mm with a bbk? Have some questions.
you need restriction on carb inlet so carb will draw fuel through the jets. I have a 21 oko on my 84ab07 bbk. go get a spray can lid, cut it down middle. mor like 60/40. take the 40% sized piece and set on carb inlet at the top. then put a hose clamp to secure it or slide you pod filter over it and ...

Re: 2000 SA50 throttle cable questions
inside the splitter connection/tube, theres a little "puck" that the single cable from throttle goes through the center and has a nub or ball that keeps it from pulling through the puck. the cables to the carb and oil pump go into the other side of splitter tube and the ends slide into the...
