Re: newest scooter purchase tg50 project
Update: All 3 are running. I swapped the motors in the 84 and 86. I plan to keep the 84 & 85. I’m thinking of converting one of the tg50’s to a dirt bike style set of forks and a disk brake on a spoked wheel. The 86 is kinda the Guinea pig right now. I pulled the forks and rear wheels and mounte...

Re: 86 Aero AF05E Mild Performance Increase
I have 1 of them on 1 of my af05's the others I run 50cc GY6 pulleys. theyre easier to find and cheaper on price plus you have 2-3 groove patterns to choose from for sliding open. the ruckus/met/gy6/dio variator can be ran if you clearance the cvt cavity for variator and belt. all are the same diame...

Re: 86 Aero AF05E Mild Performance Increase
you can buy an expansion chamber/ exhaust. theyre either rare or expensive. ive modified pipes made for other bikes to fit my af05's. turned out real good. you can also get the zx or gy6 rear performance pulley. the have a bigger outside diameter. gives you a bit more take off. you can replace the r...

Re: newest scooter purchase tg50 project
I learned a long time ago as a kid with bmx bikes, when parts piles start appearing in the house, that's usually when the women of the house start *. keeping it out in the garage, shop, shed(s), even the yard and they don't seem to mind or complain. so even if you have to buy another shed, fill the t...

Re: Honda gyro Leaking Oil
its either the oil pump shaft seal or the crankshaft seal. only 2 possibilities. ive seen the crank seal leak and put oil into that cavity yet not really show signs of a vac leak. gyro still ran great and idled fine. if you've replaced the pump and problem persists id say crank seal. it could have b...

Re: Honda gyro Leaking Oil
are you talking about the little breather nipple by the pump? if its leaking oil there its either the lowest seal on the pump or the crank seal on that side. gyros are funny like that. on my 84 I thought that was a vacuum port so I plugged it ended up pressurizing the oil tank while still lubricatin...

Re: aero 50 belt
if the belt is worn out itll be too thin of width. that could cause your slack. and even if variator was working properly, too thin of belt wont ride where it needs to.
