Hi, Check out the float valve too. Might have got a fleck of crud between the rubber and the seat. You might be able to blow air or carb cleaner into the fuel inlet tube and disloget it, but I'd take it apart again. If you find it was crud check out your fuel line and tank strainer. The stock TG50 head worked fine with the domed piston. Slight oversize pistons and rings are just as you suspect - for cylinders that have been bored larger to correct out of round, uneven wear or scratches. This would be wear or scratches beyond what a new stock piston/rings and hone would correct....
