Re: Tillotson jetless carbs

Would this work with a Spree/aero/elite carb adapter? Not that I am personally interested in one, just curious.

I just changed out the grips on my Spree. 7/8ths left and 1" right will fit just fine.

Re: 1986 Honda Spree Iowa (noob) works

Doesn't sound like an Iowa Spree if it will do 30. The restriction keeps it at around the high 20's. If your getting 30 consider yourself lucky. And yep, up the jet, drill out the washer... if it has one. And then the hard part. Change out that 12T gear for a 13T gear drive shaft.

Re: Polini jet size for BBK & MLM

All in all, I have almost $2000 wrapped up into a $75, 30 year old scooter that I bought at a farm auction. For that same amount, I could have purchased 3 brand new Tao Tao ATM50-A1's. I'm anticipating spending probably around $500 more with the new Polini carb, work done to the chrome, powder coati...

Re: Drive belt Honda melody

If I'm looking at it correctly, that has a chain, not a belt (NT50 correct)? Part number is : 28230-192-003 Doesn't look to be available, but then I didn't search very hard either. But anyway, looks like eBay has a couple http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.T...

Re: Gdash original or repainted

It's been painted. Look at the fan shroud. An original would be black, not painted red. Also, graphics are in a different position. that is original red g dash on the buttom pic. gdash had inner black panels and red inner panels. red or black side skirt trims. Yes, I know, I posted both pic...

Re: Fuel mixture with BBK and OEM oil pump

Just ordered one myself. I'm gonna run it with pump and premix for a while, then switch later on down the line if I run into issues. If not, I'll just save the plug for another engine.
