Re: Ferry2Ferry 2017
There's also a meatball cameo at 1:31 not looking both ways, followed two bikes behind by a Jonadz cameo at 1:34 looking both ways and twisting hard on the throttle!

Re: Stock Spree Exhaust Question
Don't talk to meatball unless you've already decided to do it or need convincing... One second your at his house putting a spree back together, the next your hiding in your garage swapping in an af16....

Re: 2006 Schwinn Collegiate
If it runs and rides away for cheap enough it's something to scoot on! There's always that point of view.

Re: 2006 Schwinn Collegiate
I've got one in my wood shed lol, buddy brought it over to get running, got it running and it's been here over a month, that's how much he values it! I personally am not a fan, cheap Chinese parts, weighs more than a Harley, rides high. To each thier own though, I'm still the "new guy" so ...

Re: 85 swapping to 86
I didn't listen at first... But guess what I did and would do over and over again! Swap in a dio! Might actually be my next tattoo.... "Swap in a dio" on the inside of my right wrist, everytime I open my wallet to waste money on the spree motor I would be reminded lol.

Re: Problem with Relined Clutch on 86' Spree
Dumb question but have you tried putting your old belt back on and giving it a test run? Only reason I ask is I bought a new packaged oe belt for my original spree rebuild and compared to the other 4 very used belts I had it was horrible. Had similar symptoms. Don't know if it has something wrong ma...

Re: Gaskets for Kickstart Upgrade
The warning may be there for people like me who purchased one and showed up dissassymbled. I had to install the spring and what not so I needed the warning. In your case it appears you just "bolt and go".

Re: Headlights low on idle but get brighter on throttle up?
Sounds like a perfectly running stator, headlights run off stator current so start dim with lower rpm and increasingly brighten with rpm raise. Unless I'm misinformed that's how it's supposed to work.

Re: Big thanks to this great group!
Makes me happy reading you think the panels look good, next time I pull them I'll have to take pics of the inside! I'm in serious need of new panels hahaha. When I got them they were cracked and had 90% of the tabs and mounting holes broken... I did a few quick patches that with a close look are rem...

Did the basic 3 decals, I know not the right style nor color for an 85 but was my favorite font and had to go with black.

Re: Needle comparison help
Very true, I could clearly see a taper difference between the two I had but that could have just been shear luck of the draw for that specific case! Just trying to get this thing running good enough for now until I can place my big ol order including a polini carb from swap shop. After that I couldn...
