Re: Temporary Paint help (peelable)

Ya, I wouldn't try to do a 'temporary' job, just sand it down and prep the surface right. You don't have sand it all the way down, just smooth it out and rough up the surface for the new coat. The spray paint you get at an autobody store is of higher quality than normal hardware store stuff, and ea...

Re: Paint help

Go to a place in seattle (or bellevue) called Tapp plastics. Composite, plastic, and resin specialists. I used to go there alot back when I was doing custom install work, these guys have all kinds 9f stuff that'll work on your plastic like bondo does metal but better. Then you can paint it after yo...

Re: Stereo on scooters

I used to run a Bluetooth speaker but I couldn't hear it while riding. I had a nice one, a jawbone jambox. I pulled my speedo out of the dash and set it in there, but I still couldn't hear it at all when riding. Even the bigger speakers are hard to hear when your moving. Ever heard a harley blastin...

Re: moped alarm

One 6x9 would give better bass, but not stereo sound. There is a 6x9 that can accept left and right audio, but I digress. Any small amplifier will work, depending on the wattage requirement of the speaker(s) your using. On this one I used a vintage 25x2 Rockford fosgate amplifier from the late 80s,...

Stereo on scooters

What about stereos from eBay, I need sound that's mandatory and $-$$ won't stop me 2 4-6 inch speakers. Boom boom vroom. :peace:

When I drive I feel the road and the motion but I like to zone out passers and let everyone feel the vibe when I ride.

Sound and alarm systems (can it be done?)

Is a sound/alarm system possible on a 50cc scooter?

It can be done but i would like for someone to justify that it is worth the time.

I will invest in zero modifications to the nb50 from 84.

Re: Stages (is it useful?)

CVT UPGRADES are rendered usless without gearing upgrade in referance to two strokes False: CVT upgrades such as ramp plate profile, roller weight difference, clutch springs, contra springs...all make improved performance without changing the gears. Ok so what if I said, if one who seeks upgrade by...

Re: Stages (is it useful?)

I firmly belive that if your gonna mod a motor all out or nothing. No sense in soending the money to bore out a motor and not put a foraged crank and rods in. Then why not supercharge it, * and turbo it, oh maybe a secound turbo. Bingo, So therefore putting emphasis on "weight reduction in you...

Stages (is it useful?)

I just read a artical on staging, from my point at a advanced novice knowledge see that stage 3+ is usless in street daily driving preforming apps. 2 will present gains, but 1 is boosh in the sense of performance which really just get you in the practice breathing set up on a stock motor. Examples i...
