True's hooking me up with new motor setup for our Minerelli drag scoot.
If I get the new 4 stroker done by spring I will have three drag scoots and only one rider.. I guess the old fat guy (me) will have to run one.. maybe Il find a jocky for the other one to get some good numbers lol.

Re: 150cc gy6 elite bolt in kit build
I agree they are a blast to ride with the stock GY6 150. We just GPS'd a Zuma we put a GY6 into and it went 57 mph with a stock motor, cheap stock replacement pipe (quiet) and a open style air filter. The guy loves it!! We also put one into a Elite with similar results... neither guy wants to go bac...

Re: 2012 Moped Race Classes
Yes all throttle no bottle. :2thumbs: Starting to get it tuned in... only really tried a couple of things so far... made 10 timed runs this year and wasted the first five just getting it to run right the whole 1/8th. Carb is too small and that will be corrected for the next race. I havent touched th...

Re: 150cc gy6 elite bolt in kit build
Well I like to ride my GY6 powered Elite more than either of my 2 stroke Elites. More usable off the line torque... better mileage and no pre mixing.
A friend like driving it so much we are putting a GY6 in his Zuma this weekend.

Re: Why is everyone against the gy6 swap?
I think you will really enjoy the GY6 swap. I put one in a Elite last winter and its much nicer to ride (IMHO) than the stock or the later 82cc AF16 it replaced. Better low end power... perfectly happy to idle around all day if you want... nice for regular street riding and better mileage to boot! F...

Ok.. had enough of Bear... im gone.
Well I have had enough of the cranky old man (bear) to last a life time. Rather than read about how smart he is and all the wonderful things he did 40 years ago I have decided to frequent forums were open minded people who can actually back up their statements with on track results hang out. Have fu...

Re: Discussion of optimum carb size (split from other topic)
cvt is better than a manual why do you think nissan made the new gtr a cvt and toyotas new ft86 is cvt launch speeds are faster and the motor stays in the optimin rpm for max power and is delivered to the ground smoother for maximin traction Yeah, with a computer controlling it, not springs and rol...
