Wheelman, strange as it sounds the Spree's engine code is also AF05E. Got me why. But we did get bored and try to swap the CVT parts from my junk elite motor, not happening. Rear clutch doesn't clear the case, neither does front pulley. Bummer. So the Aero clutch won't work. Hope that helps. But wo...

After further inspection and research here on the site, I've concluded that my clutch pads and bell are pretty much junk. The bell has a lot of "bluing" to it and the pads are very, very dark (almost black). After checking various Honda parts sites online, the clutch "bell" is $4...

Bad Clutch Blues

So I recently totally overhauled my 1986 Honda Spree. Replaced all gaskets, o-rings, seals, bearings, new piston kit, etc. When I had my driven clutch out of the engine I did notice some roughness in the two bearings located within it. Basically what I'd like to know is what do these clutches have f...

It doesn't matter if its better than new condition....without a title it's only good for parts. This alone almost slashes the value in half.

'87 Elite Questions

So I'm looking into a "fixer-upper" scooter and found what is said to be a 1987 Honda Elite 50. At the very least it will need side panels and the handlebar plastics. From what I have seen the body panels are specific to this year only? What do these panels normally sell for? And how do I ...
