No temp on vapor
Why isn't my vapor telling my temp? I have a working sensor on the plug. I have it set to F. I have reset it and even read the instructions. i have two vapors and I can't get either one to work so it's probably something I'm doing wrong. The lead works on my mini temp display but doesn't on the vapor?

Re: Whitey's stroker
I let my bike idle for 15 min today and it max around 337 with old last year 50:1 saber. I drained the tanks and ran the bowl dry then filled with 110 32:1 saber for five min and was around 20 degree lower. I tried taking it for a ride but it started raining so...

Re: Should I be afraid to open my scooter up?
The carb should not wiggle. If you can pull it off with one hand there is a problem. Sometimes the hose clamps you get with intakes are weak and strip out easy. If it is skipping gears it's broken, take it off and throw it away. Go to the hardware store and buy a couple new stainless steel ones. It ...

Re: Whitey's stroker
I installed some 8.44 gears this weekend and got to ride to the beach with DirtyE. The temps are manageable around 330 while putting down the road but they shoot up quick after a short burst. My jetting is on the rich side with a little bogging before acceleration.

Re: Big stroker casing issues
If you want to keep your primary as high as possible you will want to plug your oil pump area as much as possible. It's a huge area that the plug does not fill. The exposed case bolt holes deffinetly doesn't help so you want to make that up some where else.

Re: Big stroker casing issues
I used copper washers and hondabond on mine. I tested the cases with air pressure and they hold. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=30818
