Re: Spreedio Performance parts list... AF16 BUILD
Hes right about that. I have both intakes. U can get the carb separate, there around $100. Also didnt know u already have the contessa... That a tough one. Not saying its a bad kit. Cuz its a great kit. Ive ridden with rip_city. He had the corsa and stepped down to contessa. Now hes going back to th...

Re: Spreedio Performance parts list... AF16 BUILD
Looks like the carb kit u listed comes with an intake. Make sure u get a throttle cable and oil pump delete plug. The contessa is solid shud see 55-60. The corsa isnt much more and much better * far as agressive power goes. If u like speed do it right first or youll want more. Rip city spree can att...

Re: Fastest Af05e Engine
This is deja vu. I spent so much time and $ to get my afo5 to do 50. Then i bit the bullet and spent $350 on an af16. Added a bbk, and pipe. The carb/intake was re-used from afo5 along with the aftermarket clutch and bell and next thing ya know im doin 70 and pulling the wheel up@ 1/4 throttle. If u...

Re: 87 SE50 "Elite S" project..piece by piece
Try turning that air screw back in to 1.5 turns out and put that needle in the middle. Start there and make one adjustment at a time. Annoying i know. And slow tuning. But having the air screw that far out making it lean then the needle all the way up making it rich seems like 2 opposing forces. Als...

Re: AF05E UPGRADE TIME, need help hunting down parts.
Ive seen the pics of the hawkeye themed bike u did. It looks awesome. For better bottom u def wanna keep the stock pipe. I noticed the most difference on low and mid when i added the carb and intake to the bbk.

Re: AF05E UPGRADE TIME, need help hunting down parts.
Not sure how much that re seating of clutch pads costs, but g9 has that kn planning for $29 or the koso for $45 might be a better option to just go with one of those. All the dio clutches fit.

Re: AF05E UPGRADE TIME, need help hunting down parts.
G9's malossi kit, polini 21cp, and naraku intake/adapter, and stage 6 cdi really opened that bike up for me. I also did the polini vari and polini evo clutch bell for nice take off. The polini belt also works perfect. The malossi belt would take some work to fit. The tranny case is rather shallow so...

Re: Fastest Af05e Engine
Agter hours of tuning my afo5 and malossi kit, intake, Polini 21 cp, and full trans set up(stock pipe/gears) i was doing 50 on flats. One thing i noticed is the ports on the bottom of the cylinder jug were smaller those on the cases, restricting air flow. This i noticed by the imprint it made on the...
