Thanks, But where and how do I search for an air leak? Could it be rubber hose to the inlet of the carburetor or where the outlet where it connects to the manifold?

The K-pipe looks ok, but with the inverted shocks, styling and Kawi name I think it is worth the extra grand. IMHO

Update!! I made the assumption when told the drive belt was new it was new. I took it off, measured it, the belt was a couple of millimeters below the minimum. Got a new belt and let's say the elite looks good in my rear view mirror (sorry bones). But that did not come without losing it on the takeo...

Update to the update: Did a compression check last evening (thanks bonesv) and it was a little over 90psi. Going to tear it apart today and see how much damage.
