Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

This may sound dumb, but what is the Arnada? I keep seeing references to to it on the Hawaii forums. The scooters seem to look a lot like the post '94 Elite S but with different plastics (the rear has a pointy bit). Is this a Japanese model? Is it one of the Elites that has the gas tank on the floor...

I use something called "Oil Eater" - comes in a spray bottle from the local auto parts store. It has a tendency to strip the gloss off old paint if you leave it on too long though. Its supposedly biodegradable and not too stinky. For more delicate stuff you can use Go-Jo or Goop hand clean...

I didn't mean between the different Elite engines - I was hoping for experience with other 2 strokers e.g. Yamaha Zuma engines, moped engines, etc. so I could maybe play around with some other reeds/intakes.

Does anyone know if any performance reed cages made for other 2 strokes will fit the pre-Dio Elite 50 engine? Would be useful to know if there are any alternatives to the stock version out there.

I agree, that's a great price. Can you confirm that it will fit the pre '94 Elite 50 engines (non Dio type) as I have a thought lurking in the back of my mind that they have a smaller crank spline.

Which engine did you put it on?
