Whenever I clean/rebuild a carb I press up on the float (to seat the float valve) and blow through the fuel intake tube on the carb. I was wondering what compression should be at when the engine is cold and when it is warmed up. Everyone says 120psi, but how much below that is acceptable? The key and run/off switch do not work on my '97 SA50. I have no way to turn it off once it is running other than to set the idle screw so low that it dies.
