Needle clips?

Whats the deal? How come everyone stays on the middle. I understand lean and rich but If you bump it up a notch and go with a slightly larger jet wouldnt that keep it normal? Ive searched on carb tuning and im just trying to clear it up a little bit more.

Group Ride-Chicago

Hey there Ive got 8 friends for a scooter ride and were looking for more people to enjoy the hobby. If your in the Chicago land area we are located near by Lagrange. It would be amazing to have a group of 20 or so out cruising. Let me knows or post up when your free or we could set up a monthly ride...

Okay I made sure the hose is perfect length and now its just a stream of little air bubbles. Suggestions for next thing to investigate.

one Big bubble at first and then its streams of little bubbles until it goes to half full. it doesnt fill back up until I stop and crank it a couple of times.

air bubbles in fuel line

Hello,
Its a afo5e stock motor with a 90 jet. The other day it started to slow down while at half throttle and it just didnt have any top end after that. I noticed when it revs high there is a huge amount of air flowing up the gas line. What would cause that and how do I fix it.

Carb was bought brand new. And im going to adjust the float height once im free from work.

For checking the float Is it supposed to sit parallel to the case when held upside down.

I checked everything. Exhaust is tight no oil near the flange or even on the front of the case. I will be gluing the nipple into the manifold. All of my hoses have clamps as piece of mind. Im up to any suggestions. My gears should be here this week and I plan on swapping them in that day and doing s...

Jet Read K135 main and K52 pilot Ive plugged the line on the air filter side but here is the carb says 24mm

For sure ill snap some pics with the micrometer and make sure. But i know from the receipt its a 24mm. Give me a bit to get it on the lift and apart ill confirm.

Update!!!!!!! Did a different run the other day a lil big longer stretch right next to the river with some nice turns and wow. Hit 52mph at 9890.q

So yesterday i did some runs with different weights to see what eould happen. Nomatter what weihts i installed it would not go over 49mph. Im starting to lean towards changing the gears. I believe 8.44 would be a first good try and maywbr something lower just incase. Any ideas?
