Re: AB07 big bore kit
there is some port matching that still needs to be done. they are not exactly identical. but they are similar. I took some pics of a few different cylinders just need to label and resize them to post on here

Re: AB07 big bore kit
I had an Ab07 for a bit...its best to scrap the motor and swap in something variated. Whatever motor is cheap and plentiful in Belgium. However, you likely wont find anything that bolts right up. Minor fab work for an engine hanger, shock mount and some basic wiring wont be too big of a task. ummmm...

Re: AB07 big bore kit
cant find one because they don't have one for the ab07. if youre handy with a Dremel, the honda lead af01 cylinder fits, same stroke 39.3mm, the exhaust flange is same, but the ports a bigger on the af01. I jb welded the cases and opened up the case ports to match the cylinder. ive had motor built a...

Re: 85 aero 50 crank differences?
Is there a number stamped on the long-side case somewhere? Maybe on the outside where the wheel spins, in front of the brake shoe area? Just because it was taken out from an '85 Aero does not confirm it's from that scooter so is it possible it's from another year Aero or SE50? Case identification c...

Re: 85 aero 50 crank differences?
I wanted to follow up on this. I hate searching for an answer to a question and finding old threads with no resolution or answers posted. I purchased a full cheek stuffy crankshaft for an af29 vision met-in. I installed it in one of my variated af05e's. it fit perfectly, no issues, no problems, no m...

Re: Electrical Help SB50P to AF16
cant argue with the mouse!! hes correct on wire identification. I will add to his info though, some models have 2 plugs, some use the 1 big plug, some use the individual bullets and a 2 wire plug for starter but all use same color wires and # of wires, well maybe an extra green ground wire for motor...

Re: Request for input - Parts Spree 84/85 vs 86/87 and SB50
yes. they both are 95mm drum brakes and shaft and spline count are the same on early dios. I think I read here at a certain year the changed the shaft diameter. I don't remember what year though. I believe variated af05 axle shafts are the same a 93-98? dio. I don't remember if its 98 or later. I ha...

Re: 1985 Honda Gyro starter issues
the problem is gyro spins backwards from the rest of the honda scooters. I cant tell in your pic but the side with the wire stitching up should look lie a mirrored image of the other side. the wire should connect to a brush like the other side and those brushes slide into the little tracks verticall...

Re: 1985 Honda Gyro starter issues
lightly sand the brush faces, a light scrub over the center shaft faces commutator? a dollop of grease in the back bearing cavity, slap it back together. that wire that sticking up should be connected to something. I cant remember of the top of my head. but youre missing something. the one terminal ...

Re: NH80 - Removing drive gear for crank seal replacement
do these carbs have an electric bystarter or that goofy heater hoses to and from the head setup? have you thought of swapping/ upgrading the carb for something newer, bigger, better performing, easier to get parts for? I know in Europe they make spigot adapters that'll bolt to the manifold and allow...
