Re: ZX trans how-to

HOPE THIS WRITE-UP HELPS AND MAYBE SOME OTHERS CAN PUT IN THEIR 2 CENTS. (1) BY THE WAY, COVER WILL NEED SHIMMED TO CLEAR OR GET THICKER GASKET FROM ONE OF THE MODELS LISTED. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS SWAP RENDERS THE STARTER INOP SINCE THE DRIVE PULLEY IS FURTHER AWAY FROM STOCK LOCATION, I DO KNOW TH...

Re: Daywot missing...again?

I know there was a post recently about Patrick not responding to emails because they were going to his Spam folder. But now I have placed an order through Ebay (and an email through Ebay) and have not heard from him in a week. In the past he emailed back and shipped same day, ALWAYS, anyone know if...

Re: Tripping stop light sensors

I don't have the problem with my current route to work but I used to so I'd just get off the bike and press the button for the cross walk or wait for a car. On a side note, a lot of the lights are set off by breaking the magnetic field set up in the strange squares and circles on the road coming up ...

Re: bigger carb?

If you are content with the performance of your bike now stick with the stock carb, it will handle your set up with no issues so long as it is jetted correctly. Once you go with a larger carb you tend to have more issues with reliability so that is also something to look at. As far as what size to g...

Re: i need a pg exhaust expert...

PG Long = Top speed, lots of rev, loud, needs a large carb (28mm works best with it), 3K RPM Clutch Springs, 1500RPM Center Spring, 72cc-110cc engine and $150. PG Short = Better low end than a Long but not as much top speed, large carb needed, same spring set up as a Long, 72cc-98cc engine and $140....

Re: Malossi or Corsa

You can't go wrong with either of them. Buy the cheaper Malossi for your Vino and just make sure you get a Vino exhaust so you don't have to worry about trimming any panels. As for the Polini Corsa, compare it to the Malossi Aluminum cylinder not the cast iron one which most people will do, the Poli...

Re: Dio Gears? Clearance issues

Like I said, just sand down the washer a bit lol. Makes for an easy mod...or...you could always get the fiber type washer and put that in instead of the plastic one.

The manifold from a SB50 will work on a Spree and thats it, every other manifold will not bolt on. SB50 engines are pretty much the same engine as the Spree. The Elite lines had the engines change with the models so they are all different in different ways.

nparks, stock pulley is fine. keli is nice but having tried lots of various trans combos, I don't find it a critical upgrade. You should get lighter rollers though, 5-6g, maybe lil more with v8 pipe. A hi-speed pulley kit in a Honda Elite S is the single best upgrade you can do. You will never noti...

possibly not having the choke (bystarter) is causing the moped to run really rich and it will only run with a lot more air coming into it.

Things I have seen E10 do to a moped: Collects/attracts water to build up in gas tank Damages rubber seals Strange "growths" on spark plugs that cause the moped to die out (tends to be on Yamaha styled mopeds) Things I have heard E10 do to a moped: Strips natural oil from fuel (good idea t...

Thats really odd that the weights were 3 grams 'cause the only 3g rollers we have here are purple unless the factory screwed those up but I'll look into the other packages. we have a very limited number of 9 and 10 gram rollers so if you want them give me a call asap and I'll cut you a deal for the ...
