I've seen things happen like this a ton of times and usually the moped doesn't suffer to much so you should be fine. A good idea when removing the restrictions is to put a larger jet inside the carb as well as tie open the oil injector especially if you modded the air box cover to allow more air (I ...

It depends on how long you let it sit, the proper working fuel petcock will only allow fuel to pass it when the moped is running, vacuum open the valve to allow fuel to pass it. This will be an issue if you don't ride it more then once a week or so but if you ride it every day and this happens perha...

What color? Also if the bike is site-unseen then look at the transmission cover if you can see it in a picture look to see if it is 2 pieces, if it is a single piece it is a LX/SR model and not one with the performance type of motor. The color schemes were '94-'96 (I think) red or black '97-'99 yell...

[quote=Scooterspal]My idle speed is usually relatively low but constant with no stall out. Lately, when I come to a stop it will drop off and then start to slowly speed back up to the point I need to almost hold back or she will take off. You can feel her trying to move forward. Any suggestions on w...

The throttle cable can be pulled on to cause the carb to be in a opened position which will make some bikes hard to start I'd take the panels off and see if you can get some slack out of the cable by checking the way it is routed so you can still leave it on the stand, which is the safe way of doing...

Just change the spark plug regardless if it is still sparking, spark can be weak and still seem like it is a good enough spark. Normally if it runs with starter fluid but doesn't without it I would assume that the cylinder isn't getting gas but lets assume it is, I'd check the valves to see if they ...

All things considering that isn't too bad, I've heard horror stories of months to not wanting to order the parts because it is for a moped. As far as some other places besides Honda I've had a customer who ordered a Benelli moped and waited over a year after paying in full for his $3000+ moped and n...
