I think I made a mistake when I reassemble the needle. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll108/ploki33/needle.jpg Because of the (2) needle clip on the picture, I put it on the 2nd notch but it's the 4th notch from the top that is suppose to be, am I right? And for the throttle cable adjustment, I...

Re: Throttle screw don't change anything to my idle

I cleaned my carb and now I don't have idle at all wen the engine is hot. Wen it's cold, it's start well and idle poorly and wen it's hot, I have to give a little bit of trottle at the red light because the engine die. I tried to play with the trottle screw but nothing happen. When I reassemble the...

Re: Idle speed taking off at times

My idle speed is usually relatively low but constant with no stall out. Lately, when I come to a stop it will drop off and then start to slowly speed back up to the point I need to almost hold back or she will take off. You can feel her trying to move forward. Any suggestions on what to check? The ...

Sounds like a dirty and/or poorly adjusted carb. I found that my air screw has to be backed out several turns farther than most people's on this forum. Maybe it has to do with humidity and ambient temperature (since it's much hotter down here than in MI where most members seem to be) so if you aren'...

that sounds like a sick plan. Wow, I feel really old. I had to ask someone I know on IM (who is 7 years younger than me) if "sick" meant "cool" or something like that, and he confirmed it did. *LOL* a few of those dips were pretty harsh. I normally don't use the word "sick....

If that plugged right into my Aero it would be awesome. So I'm assuming you're taking a lot of back roads? Wow, I feel really old. I ha...

what are you going to wire? the "cigarette lighter" kind of thing? or a normal plug? A "cigarette lighter" kind. I refer to it simply as a "12v outlet". I've seen the sites where people put stereo systems on 50cc scooters. Seems kind of excessive to me. I would imagine...

one i would get a kick start.... and we use to wire in radar detectors and it worked fine $90+ship is a bit steep for me right now (someone's price here on the forum for a complete kick start conversion kit) since I need a new battery right now anyway. It's leaking acid and the + terminal is broken...

Charging a device from Spree alternator?

Is it feasible to wire in a 12v outlet for charging a single small electronic device such as a cell phone or GPS unit off of the Spree's alternator? Or are the alternators JUST powerful enough for the light(s) and battery charging? Of course, the battery would also be aiding in the charging. Since I...

just spit balling here, but could you make a rack that, dare i say it, was on the inside of the body panel of a spree? it seems like you could, just screw something in and have all your tools. *, you could cut out a section and add a hinge and latch and make it an openable panel. the possibilities ...
