Rain sucks
Any 1 know if there's a good air filter or aftermarket air box with good flow that handles the rain?? I use my scoot 2-3 times a week 30 mile commute,it's the on an off morning rains I n Hawaii. I'm catching.. I made a make shift sheet metal blocker between the carb an rear tire.. Lmk

I bet its your port timing,how many base gaskets u running? An what's your squish at? Is your crank 52.6.?

U can't check plug rich or lean till after break in... Every1 is different but I'll do 5-7 heat cycles run motor to temp 280-320f kill motor sit till back down to air temp.an repeat then u do your cruzing around town.goin thru your throttle not much more than 1/2..for a couple tanks..than your ready...

I agree with the other guys pilot to big maybe 45-50.. I was using s 52 on my old OKO 30mm on my 120cc

What was your compression ?? An your jet size looked super lean an hug comp.. Don't have to be at WOT TO SOFT SEIZE..

What was your compression? An like I said to much oil can cause it to soft seize.. What does the piston look like u got a picture?

Oil is Royal Purple 2-stroke with no additives, Fuel is ethanol-free, Air filter and Spark Plug is direct from Noiseguy. I was told break-in is 30:1 and then normally 32:1. Ive been running 30:1 the entire time. Sorry for hijacking your thread, Jake. Didn't mean to. Royal purple sucks sorry to say...

Ok.. I just got my ZX TRANS in. I'm happy the way it is..1man8scoots wrote:If you drop roller weight you better hang on it will be more of a handful off the line. The thing is you will lose top end mph usually. Might lose 2 mph or something if you don't go too light.

OK, guys. After 3 soft seizes today Im done. Im putting the stock bore back on and putting it up for sale. Ive done everything that everybody recommended and it just wont run right. Not throwing any more time or money into this POS. Im over it. Everybody goes thru that.. Usually after 2-3 sezie it'...

Quick question... Want to know u rollers/slider weights u running..
I was using all 5g. Just went to 5g/6g in seeing 11300 rpms on the top end per MVS my bore with his work is able to hit 12k+ should I lower my weighs ?
