Speaking of holes, has anybody tried milling out the trans gears to shave a some weight in there, just on the bigger ones? Or maybe its not worth the trouble.

I will be happy to assist with the 1-1 pulley system on the machining side. Brandon and I have discussed this a time or two.

Clean car man, I love that area too. I like all of the wind turbines you see coming from the river entering WA. They are amazing, although man made they sure are neat.

Thanks for clearing that up, I have heard it was a PITA, I had no idea it was this difficult to do. Maybe I will wait until next year to attempt. Side note: That is some serious dough to drop. I wonder how the oil would cool, unless there were some serious heat shrouds, maybe the oil would store excess heat unless it went somewhere else to cool and return.
