Update: when the kit showed up it looked nothing like the picture. so I went back to the drawing board. after some research I found that an af01 lead 50 has the same bore and stroke as the ab07. so with the black Friday sale at parts for scooters, I bought a polini BBK for the euro based Lead. only ...

if its non variated, and has spree forks and motor, I've put a perelli 275-10 with stock under body plastics. that about it. if you want to custom mount the coil, air cleaner, and other electrics, you can squeeze a 3.0-10. if its variated and has the funky external dual shock fork, you can get a 3.0...

modify your clutch. you need stiffer springs, or lighten your clutch shoes. you need more rpm before the clutch engages

thanks for your vote. that's what im probably gonna get, polini bbk is no longer produced, and I heard the same about the malosi kit from treatland. the sales manager said they will not be getting another batch no longer produced and when theyre gone theyre gone... scooter swap shop is out of stock ...

if your gonna get a belt, get a $20 gy6 variator off fleebay and a dio rear pulley, then get a 669*18*30 belt. re use you old boss maybe a spacer or 2. youll need to clearance the case and cover, but youll pick up a little take off power and more top speed. the 50cc gy6 variators have the same boss ...

that's an upgrade!!!! that battery cost 2x as much as a lead acid battery for these scooter. lol
seriously though. ive started and ran a scooter with the little m12 batteries no problem. im not sure about using an m18 though. I bet the starter spins faster than the motor!! hahaha
