apparently you can borrow a comp. tester from most auto parts stores with a refundable deposit. the width of the drive belt according to the manual is 11.5mm 0.45in service limit listed at 10.5mm 0.41 in. also if your belt is original even if it's within spec it could still be slipping due to glazed...

Don't own a spree but don't think they have rollers. Probably needs a new belt, (check against specs in the manual) really needs the airfilter and assy correctly installed nice and tight. intact, also the muffler , really needs the back pressure and turbulence. will probably run with 90 psi, but should be closer to 120 psi. when doing the comp test, hold the throttle wide open or remove the carb.

Is this the same scooter as your other post? If so I would imagine a soft seize due to the panty hose air filter allowing way to much air. You should really have a temp gauge so you can keep an eye on the temps while riding. Look at the plug and see what color it is. Probably shouldn't ride again un...

Maybe check your muffler or exhaust port for partial restriction. It's a long shot but who knows.

have you tried running it without the gas cap, to rule out plugged venting in the tank. If it can't draw air it won't allow fuel flow.

you could always buy the tusk tool, use it, then list in on ebay or here on the forum. trouble is once you resell it you will probably find yourself needing it again in the future. I have never regretted buying I could use at least once. good luck on which ever method you choose.

do a leak down test to rule out bad gaskets or seals, even though they are new. and or take the cyl and piston out and have them checked for proper size. are both piston rings the same? and are they installed in the correct orientation? If it matters I dont know, just a few thoughts
