my scooter goes off road all the time..... its not the off road that is messin with ya. Check this. 1. fuel (petcock) its vaccume driven. disconnect the fuel line and the vaccume line and NO gas will come out until you create a vaccume on the vac line, if you get gas then cool. 2. REPLACE spark plug...

the 86 spree only goes 25-30mph thats it, if you want faster then get a different bike. Dont screw around with the spree, there too cool the way they are... well thats my 2cents anyway

funny i have a 86 spree with 6500 miles on it and have never ever ever had the rollers replaced or needed to. Do you think thats because its a spree and low torque? seems to run great!! had to replace the spark plug the other day but it still hits 30mph no prob...??

wow you seem to have tons of problems with this. What you need to do is get together with someone who has a running one and swap parts till you see what fixed it. Have you checked to see if the ignition is working?? this will give you no spark and engine will turnover in some possitions. I have one ...

wow!! dont do it if you dont know where to put the wires. just put the rack back on and leave it alone, or find a qualified person to do it.

clean the carb!!!! and NEVER EVER do that again!!! all the CRAP that was in the float bowl has gummed up everything, Also look up (in here) how to clean the carb properly!! it will help to do it right the first time!!

ya its an old scooter, it needs to be warmed up..... mine will run like s**t in the beginning then i can run all day. I only use the best highest octaine gas too, just for giggles really.

just enjoy the little bike and keep good gas and oil in it. it will treat ya good.
