Re: Polini Contessa BBK Base Gasket Replacement
Just buy a new one - they got em for $10 right? but always check for leaks. Maybe your jetting is just off? Or there’s a leak somewhere else

Re: 86 spree kickstart stuck
Find a cover gasket for your cover and apply it with some adhesive sealant to the cover and let dry completely. Then when it’s dry, install it to the case with a light coating of heavy grease so gasket will stay on cover and will not “stick” to the case. The extra spacing should give the gear more r...

Re: What size carb?
Just another tip for your builder assembling you motor-be absolutely sure the intake system is completely sealed up-it’s too easy to overlook and find out you should have used hondabond or motoseal gray on all the gaskets because unwanted air leaking into the fuel flow makes it impossible to tune. Y...

Re: af05e malossi bbk and s23 slick willy pipe jetting
I suggest a cylinder head temp gauge and use it on the spark plug for accuracy. It’s a beotch to deal with sometimes until you’re used to it but reading the temps in real-time is way easier than the old plug chops method 😝 I use trailtech temp gauge with the 2 or 3 ft extension and it easily mounts ...

Re: What size carb?
I use a gauge in inches but metric is easy also.
Inches I set mine at about .028” I’m pretty sure Honda says the stock plug gap setting is .024”

Re: What size carb?
The Malossi is stock stroke and the corsa is designed for a stock stroke so it’s perfect without any additional gaskets just use what’s in the kit. The jet won’t fit the Polini carb and never run a Champion spark plug in your scooter. NGK always. BR8HS is perfect. The corsa does not like rich jettin...

Re: What size carb?
I guess I never actually recommended a carburetor. I will assume you don’t want your scooter to sound like a full out race bike and if you put an OKO or Polini flat-slide carb on there it will do just that. The ncy pipe and an oem style 19mm carb setup with some kind of an airbox will get you to abo...

Re: What size carb?
Yup! That is the one. I spray paint mine with hi temp (4000 deg.) header paint-flat black. Looks “stock” and I like having the extra rust barrier. Have fun dude and be safe

Re: What size carb?
Go with the NCY pipe. Very affordable. It doesn’t require super hi-rpm’s to work well. If you want all-out snap your neck back take-off power, the arrow is one of the best! Expensive for a daily-driver and it is susceptible to early self-destruction due to inert design fragility. It’s a loud as f__k...

Re: What size carb?
You will want to match up the carb/exhaust pipe to reach the powerband of the corsa. Choose your exhaust pipe to match the corsa then choose the carb is how I would do that. Choice of gear ratio is also going to be a factor in the tuning but the rider weight will also have to be a consideration to s...
