Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
Well no luck on finding the 82 jet. I moved the needle clip down a notch just for fun. The result of course was a quite rich condition, not even accepting throttle off idle. I ended up plugging the extra airbox tab back up hoping it would help the potentially lean condition. I grabbed another plug f...

Re: Honda spree
Yes the spree can be very slow to start, usually until about 10-12mph. Always keep an eye in the airbox lid. If it's not sealed to the airbox it can cause a lean condition and it won't run to its full potential. I believe someone on this forum has discussed swapping in stiffer clutch engagement spri...

Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
Do you guys think it looks lean enough to move the needle clip or even possibly upjet to an 82?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
At the base of the porcelain? I tried looking down inside the plug, but it wasn't very easy with the lighting in my garage at the time. I took it for another short cruise yesterday. Plug chopped and it looked a little darker on the electrode, but still not close to the ideal color. Aparently a littl...

Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
I agree on the color. I was going more by the porcelain than the electrode. I did notice after my ride the airbox had come a little loose from the carb. I'm going to re test today.

Re: Sa50 derestrict questions
I just wanted to finish up by posting my results. Installed 78 MJ Drilled restricting washer to 7/8" then smoothed it out with a dremel. http://i546.photobucket.com/albums/hh417/kevinstonge/Mobile%20Uploads/1405956092_zps36a277ff.jpg Oil injector wire tied open http://i546.photobucket.com/album...

Re: QUIET PLEASE: best stealthy upgrades for my '86 Aero?
Sounds like multiple people recommend the wild lion, me being one of them. I'd scoop one up while they are still available. If your on a budget the sp3 will do, but I think you may have to trim some side panel, or get a longer shock so they don't kiss each other. Again if you are not willing to prem...

Re: Sb50 85 jet
I'm pretty sure the PA Carb part number 99101-187-0850 should get a Hit on Honda-san's computer. Call the dealer and read it to them to see. +1 Used on 1987 Elite SE50P PA carb, will fit PA carb on SB50. JET, MAIN (#85) 99101-187-0850 $5.94 Thanks guys! That's the one for sure! This is what you wan...

Sb50 85 jet
Looking to buy an 85 jet for an sb50. I tried to cross reference parts but I'm getting confused with updated part number changes. New part number for the oem 68 jet 99101-GHB-0680 I googled searched the same number but 0850 instead, and found the early xr80 and xr100's came with them. I then went to...

Re: high speed rated tires
Here's a P rated continental. I've run the conti-twist sports on my ch80 before. Absolutely loved them on the street but tread wear was quicker than the conti zippy's I usually run. Unfortunately the smallest tire the conti-twist race comes in is 3.5x10, which I believe may be a touch too big if you...

Re: Elite 80 Front turn signals
Hmmm. This is interesting as well. Can anyone translate? I wonder if it's a larger bore and compatable with US engines.. For some reason the link won't work. I found it by searching for "honda spacy ch80" and in the images section I clicked on the picture of a bore kit. http://scooterservi...
