It's not adjustable. You may have a worn out shock absorber. I weigh the same and have noticed the same thing.
Is there a bolt up shock absorber that would work on this that is superior to the stock item? For example, would a shock absorber off a Elite 50 or 80 work?

Take it easy on the starting fluid, you can easily melt the piston on these. If it won't start the idle jet's not clean. Try pulling the choke partially out,remove screws and pull up, making sure not to pull it out past the o-ring. If it runs then the idle circuit still isn't clean. If the idle jet ...
