1990 Elite E leaking oil out of kickstart cover, won't start
I can't get my 1990 Elite E to start. It's also leaking oil/fuel out of the kickstart (left side cover.) The battery turns the engine over with no problem, the kickstart is free and works, I have spark, rebuilt the carb carefully, tested compresssion (130 lbs), and have the airbox and exhaust instal...

Re: Will a Spree exhaust fit on an Elite E?
I wonder if the Spree exhaust is more restrictive than the sb50 seeing as how the sb50 intake and reeds are supposed to flow better.

Re: Will a Spree exhaust fit on an Elite E?
I ended up tracking done the right pipe. I'll do a side by side comparison when I get it in the mail. I'm going to end up putting the sb50 back together, getting it running, and selling it.

Will a Spree exhaust fit on an Elite E?
Will a nonvariated (Spree) af05e exhaust fit a sb50 Elite E? I know the engines are somewhat similar, but just how similar are the exhaust mounting points?

Re: What Where Which Fuel Line?
I think I have found a supplier online that sells genuine Honda stuff for a good price. I had the digital caliper out last night measuring hose IDs and the barbs on the carb and fuel petcock lol.

Re: Changing Spree tires - What's the trick?
Thanks for all the tips and tricks. I eventually got both front and rear tires mounted. I used new tires and new tubes. For the front I stood the tire up and sat on it (yes sat on it) this made it slightly oval shaped which allowed me to slip the wheel inside and get the first bead started. After th...

Re: What Where Which Fuel Line?
Thanks for the suggestions! Will 5mm fuel line work? I've also seen 4.5mm listed - is that fuel or vacuum line size?

Re: AHH, I might just have to sell it.
Missing titles seem to be the biggest problem that Ive encountered when messing with scooters. They're never stolen or anything, its just that people don't take them seriously enough to safegaurd their paperwork. A lot of people find a good titled frame and swap all the parts over or you could keep ...

What Where Which Fuel Line?
I'm still fiddling with my '84 Spree - replacing just about everything as I go lol. The previous owner had rigged up all kinds of janky fuel lines, so I figured I'll replace all of them. The question is what size is the inside diameter? Where can I purchase some? Finally which brand should I buy? I'...

Thanks for all the different ideas. It looks like I'm going to have to sand and paint this wheel and try again.

Re: Changing Spree tires - What's the trick?
Thanks for the info! I'm worried that I'm going to bend the rims with all that prying. I'm surpride how stiff these little tires are.

Changing Spree tires - What's the trick?
I've been lucky enough to not have to mount any scooter tires - removed a few parting scooters out, but never mounted any new tires. I'm trying to get a new stock sized Kenda tire onto a Spree wheel without detroying the tube. So what's the trick? This is one stiff tire! Any suggestions would be app...
