Nice job! I got some of that same paint at walmart the other day it was $2.34+tax/can here in canada. and went to get some gloss a day later that same paint had dropped to $1.94+tax/can, I thought I had hit the jackpot... tht is what we get for only having 33 million people instead of 309 million lol

After big bore kit what can I leave stock
If I put a big bore kit on my 84 spree, can I run stock exhaust and stock air box and jet, or is it futile to leave everything else stock. i think I would need to put a uni filter on and upjet and open up the exhuast a bit too. thanks for posting that, a great lesson for us all! and Sorry for your loss of piston and jug though. Is there a big bore kit you could get to replace both possibly, might be a cheap option. I know if I cook my spree piston and jug i'll be ordering a boig bore kit.

Those bugs seem to love exhasut pipes! Funny how sensitive a spree exhaust is. I put my finger over stigner yesterday jusst to see and the motor stalled.

I had no problems on my spree with straight stems, I was using a 120 tankless compressor with the standard bicycle pump end on it. I ust gave the stem a firm shove towards the side to get the thing on the stem then fold the levern down start the compressor till it reads the pressure i want and yank ...

i put knobbies on my spree. It was a needed real bad... I live on a dirt road it gets scary with standard tires. Now it steers and stops like a champ. And the knobbies were the same price as standard tires $17 canadian at the local shop

I remember back in the late 80's the honda dirtbikes all had stickers on the rear fork that said "PowerBand" and all the kids would ask if your bike had "powerBand" installed... lol

cleaning the muffler helps. I did mine last week big difference afterwards. I did the liquid drain cleaner (there are instructions in the tech section) didn't take that long but be safe, WEAR PROPER GLOVES AND USE FACE SHEILD IF YOU HAVE ONE!!!!! If not I would get one.
