Re: which oil has that great 2 stroke smell ?

great smell is defined personally by each individual the distinct 'two stroke' smell is probably from the castor mixes (mentioned previously by Motormike) I personally would love to try that strawberry smelling one. :) I started with the Maxima Super M but had to switch to another because of the lim...

Re: Elite runs great then dies HELP

Engine would still idle... If I let it sit, it would start up fine again. Weird. It turned out to be the ignitio...

Re: Need new battery

whatever battery you end up buying, be sure to charge it fully when you first get it. I'd still check it even if they say it's fully charged (it could've sat on the shelf for a week or two (or ?). other battery related tips: Get a trickle charger, even the cheap ones at wallymart (or similar store) ...

Re: Daelim Cordi front rim replacement?

fyi: The Sym dd50 rim does fit as both are the smaller 10mm size front bolt. What doesn't fit is the stock Daelim odometer gear unless you transfer the whole Sym dd50 front using the dd50 forks. Re: Buying first motorcycle!

Buying from Craigslist(CL) is alright but you really need to use your common sense and better judgement. Is there anyone you know that is a bit knowledgeable about motorcycles(m/c)? It would be best to take that someone with you when you go shopping, otherwise go visit a local m/c shop to see how mu...

Re: Need new battery

^ah... another similar minded individual... I thought I was the only one that had these kind of thoughts. If I need to replace, I buy new. As long as it's the same size, and of similar specifications (or better). Spillable/ Maintenance free or not is a matter of preference <it doesn't have to be>. I...

Re: Rear Wheel

The Elite rim was originally designed to be used with a tube, the Metro rim is tubeless as most new scoots are nowadays. The Metro rear is also a wee bit wider than ...
