Re: Hardwired Gauges

Funkey, I'm assuming you are talking about the SA50 in your signature. If so, then green is universal ground (battery negative) everywhere on the scooter. I refer you to the wiring chart on page 18.1 in your service manual for the wiring chart. Red is the universal hot wire (battery positive), and t...

Re: Side stand for SA50?

Bonesv was correct once again.. many thanks Bones. The NK-127 side stand is exactly the same one as in burnt_toast's old post from years ago, and it fits an SA50 perfectly. Besides the two bolts with captive nuts that are visible in the burnt_toast photos, it has a third bolt with a captive head tha...

Re: Advice needed for installing left crankshaft oil seal

Had this happen to me with two different Sprees and one SB50.. different engines, but same result. I use a piece of PVC pipe to set the new seals in place. The workshop manual for your engine indicates that bonesv is correct.. 2mm depth. I don't know what causes the seal to blow out, but it did happ...

We never heard the end of this story. Did it end up with Dante9275, Kustomkarma, jerz40, or somebody else?

Re: Getting a new key OR repairing original key for Honda Sp

Take the bent key to your local honda powersports dealer. They will have Honda key blanks in stock, and can punch you a new key to match your lock if your old key is an original key and still has the key code stamped on the key. Otherwise get a blank at Honda and take it and the bent key to Walmart ...

Re: Honda Elite Tire Replacement

Your scooter uses 3.00 x 10 tires, and in my opinion your best source is to get new tires from your local Honda Powersports dealer. They can order them for you and you won't have to pay shipping.. price should be about $20 a tire and they will be OEM quality and you won't have any worries about fit,...

Re: Do I need one of these?

With 210 watching, but nobody buying, I'd say there are a lot more Honda scooter guys lurking out there than one would think.. Maybe it is the $350 shipping or that there is only one key for it has them hesitating.. lol: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-MOTOCOMPO-RARE-/231608317446?hash=item35ecee7606:...
