Will be running 93oct and 32:1 premix with Castor927, 650' above sea level. Trying to set it up for drag racing this weekend and strapped for ...

I bottomed out the springs over and over on sidewalk/driveway bumps but it held strong. Maybe these babies are tougher than I give them credit? Let us know how it g...

Re: 1999 Elite 50SR Transmission Oil

use the same stainless steel washer on both sides of that gear I had thought of this...however, the Stainless Steel washer is of larger outside diameter than the plastic one. Re: Aero exhaust

the difference will be louder and slight loss or gain in performance, key word slight and gain only if you're unplugging the right area.

unlikely to be beneficial unless you just want more sound

Re: 01 front suspension

Greetings: Are the forks bent? Google "String Alignment" or see here. Are the steering head bearings gritty or squared? Raise the front wheel, grab the axle by both ends and check for front-to-back movement. You may just need to repack them and adjust the tension per manual specifications...

i'm with motormike wholeheartedly. his constant flagrant egotism about all things as the 2stroke supremo were most annoying.

Re: Best way to clean an Elite?

^all great suggestions.

tip: for the real super grimey stuff on engine, spray with some brake cleaner, watch it melt away and wash with soap & water or spray with hose soon after. just don't let it sit too long as it can eat thru paint, but a quick douse and hose down does the trick :thumbwink:
