I'd buy a stem for a disk swap, I'd probably even get a few
DD50 front ends are easy to get, it's just the stem that's missing, I don't want to buy a whole NCY front end when I only really need 1 piece

Re: New round here
What's breaking, the actual clutch + pads, or the bell on the outside?
And yeah I happen to know most of the riders around here, we get some runs going

Re: 98 Elite S Big Bore problems
As far as the boost port goes, yes it does bolt on without any case mods. I still have a stock tiny boost port on my block, with a huge 50mm bore on top of it. Sure, matching the boost port would be nice, but I didn't do it. Wait a minute! Sounds like you did just what I did: bolt it on without any...

Re: 98 Elite S Big Bore problems
Wow JJ, you are spewing out lots of misinformation. Care to post a pic of this adjuster on the oil pump? I've never heard of or seen this adjustable oil pump. Or better yet, just post up a video of you doing 60mph on a stock geared dio block. As far as the boost port goes, yes it does bolt on withou...

Re: 98 Elite S Big Bore problems
The exhaust is of an 89 250R 2stroke. I was thinking of using the stock header pipe that curves around to the stock muffler and cutting it there... What all else have you done with that 50mm kit as far as exhaust, carb, and air filter? What's your top speed? Still sounds way too big, you're trying ...

Re: 98 Elite S Big Bore problems
50mm bore on ebay: I run it, 3500+ miles on it so far, I've surprised quite a few "expensive setups" with it, and I couldn't be happier. 4wheeler exhaust: unless that 4wheeler is a 2stroke, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have the welder and the inclination, a dirtbike exhaust (preferably ...

Re: rear tire kicking my butt
I make my brother or dad sit on the bike, squeeze the brake, and brace themselves. I have more luck using a star bar (4pt universal tire wrench) vs. my impact or socket wrench + a breaker bar. Everything else just slowly pushes the bike (gearing advantage) but with the star bar I can just yank on it...

Re: Spreepinnaharta, Texas
I've noticed the gas prices moving up... are you seeing more of the cheap 150cc Chinese bikes out there? They are like a plague here. I've noticed ENDURO bikes everyone around here! At least they are the sexy KTM ones. (I guess I can't say much, been spending most of my time on the Madass and not t...

Re: New round here
Just turn the wheel and count how many times the clutch bell spins around, easy way to tell you your gear ratio.
And post up some pics of that elite! We should go ride, check out the video thread for some Kona action

Re: Jiangwayne Racing Pipe for 60-90cc Suggestions
Definitely faster than a stock pipe, but like wheelman said it won't clear your turn signal. I like the performance, although I've never used a PG long on my setup so no comparisons there. For the price, I like this pipe, other than the panel/turn signal clearance issues. I wouldn't run it on a stoc...

Re: What ratio are these?
Assuming the seller's info is correct, yes they fit a AF16 motor, the final ratio would be around 9.2:1
