Re: Ideal Corsa Carb?

Where's the ideal place to buy a 24mm carb and related jets?

Also, what's a good intake pipe & reed valve? (Ebay ones, or?)

Can someone tell me/ us more about the power jet feature?

Thanks....

Flat spots....

OK... Acceleration on an AF05E (completely stock) is nice & strong. But when you hit about 27mph, the RPM "levels off" or seems to have a power fade for a second or two. After that, the RPM's continue to ramp up again climbing to about 38 on the speedo. I have adjusted the carb. air sc...

Re: AF16 vs. AF18 engine blocks....

Interesting...why do you thin the engineers chose different sized crank seals?

Also, AXO, you gotta post up some pictures of your Dio, The entire bike, the exhaust, and the motor~!

Re: Ebay Carbs.....(Aero 50)

You posted up some great information on comparing the Clone vs. OEM carbs.

Fantastic work~!

I'm glad I inquired about this, as it certainly clears up a lot.

As sensitive as a carb is to adjustments/ changes..it's best NOT to buy a clone carb.

Thanks!

Re: Ebay Carbs.....(Aero 50)

Let the buyer beware....~!

I'm certainly skeptical and a supporter of OEM vs. this no-namer....

Perhaps it's worth a shot, maybe the electric choke is OK....it's a $45.00 crap-shoot.

This is a healthy discussion about these "cereal box" carbs....

Some one push the button, buy it, try it, and post results.....lol!

Re: Ebay Carbs.....(Aero 50)

After I read your post, I did ask the seller for the code.

Here's the reply:

Hi Patrick
Thank you for your question, this is an aftermarket carburetor, no codes on the carb.
Thank you

Has anyone purchased one of these generic carbs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Carburetor-HONDA-NB50-AERO-Carb-NEW-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2eb01f4de0QQitemZ200523337184QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories I'm skeptical, and I'm curious on what people's experiences are with them.... Bear, it's you that needs to shut up. Good Gawd, all the hostility and defense....NO one's questioned you or your capabilities--as you make some very valid points. Stop making this a personal thing. It's your * attitude & overall negative demeanor that would get you fired from any job. NO one's ...

Bear, after reading this entire thread, I've come to the conclusion that you have rather poor presentation skills. You're the one with the defensive stance, as well as making several assumptions. Most of what you have "contributed" is attitude, a bit of unwarranted anger, and is flat-out c...

Re: Aero 50 brakes

Again, I'm not looking to "lock up" the rear brake, as I specifically stated that within my original post.....I'm just wanting the rear brake to be a stronger brake, like that of my other Aeros. It's not functioning properly. You're getting too deep & technical about this. I'm simply i...
