Re: Af16.. Which Belt?

Well in my opinion the malossi belts fit way better than the Polini. It sits lower in the front pulley and higher on the td. Not going back to Polini belts. Next will be a kn kikaku or bando, and I'll report again

That's awesome. Our scooter scene in the USA can't hold a candle to the scooter lifestyle in asia.

Af16.. Which Belt?

Hello all. I have a quick question about belts you guys are running, how they fit and how you like em. I've been using Polini belts for awhile, but I'm kinda upset with the fitment. I've been thinking about trying out malossi belts, bando, or kn kikaku. G9 says kn belts are his fav and I'm kinda lea...

Re: AF05 87' Elite SE50 question.

Thanks for the responses. So after comparing the pipe on his bike to the pics, it's definitely the unrestricted one. So I'm going take it from the top and put the stock weights back and a fresh Polini belt and see where that gets us. He said it creeps up to 40 on a flat but takes like 30 seconds or ...

Re: AF05 87' Elite SE50 question.

Yes benji i did notice the plate on the back of the variator, but we put the polini variator on now, so thats not the issue. Thanks for that link I totally forgot about wikispreedia! So his Vin says its a regular non restricted se50 but judging by the pic of the exhaust, it looks like the restricted...

Re: AF05 87' Elite SE50 question.

The belt is a relatively new stock belt, I thought he bought a Polini belt to go with it but I guess not. I'll look and see if I have any heavier weights around that I could let him use, I think I have my stock af16's 8g weights somewhere. Thanks for the tip.. Besides that however, are there any kno...

AF05 87' Elite SE50 question.

Hello Everybody! I just brought another friend to the darkside and got him into scooter world. He picked up an 87 Elite for cheap, and now, he has the tuning bug wanting to go faster and faster. I sent him to swapshop and he picked up a Malossi bore, polini variator, and some gears. He wanted a slic...

Re: Helix Stake-bed pick-up

Its ruined imo. The sexy rear end on the Helix is the main seller on it for me. Its the only reason I would pick one over a Reflex is that Helix rump lol

Re: my new 88 prebug build

Looking good man. A 90/90-10 fit that front rim thats interesting. I been contemplating putting a prebug front end (rim, fork, front brakes, etc..) on my jog. Also your scoot looks like it wont have enough rear suspension travel and will bottom out.
