hmm. how much bend would effect it? i mean, it looks straight, but, if there are minuscule proportions of difference that affect it, it is possible.
its too cold, its been in garage since snow fell, i'll work on it when it warms back up.

as long as its not attached to the carb, it moves perfectly.

thank you wheelman. i knew about that "nub", and am always careful to align it properly, but it does seem to be catching in there. when it's disconnected, there is plenty of movement on the throttle.
i just cant figure out what's keeping it stuck in there.

agreed. i was just told about marvel about a month ago, guy swears by it. says its a lot less corrosive than most other products.

my guess is the teeth in the gears slipped and now arent set the way they're supposed to be. i say this, although i know very little about it since i dont actually have kick start on mine(but ive read alot about it). what i would do is take the cover plate off, and realign everything.

besides my scooter, i also rewire keyboards and other digital stuff. my main hobby is saltwater aquariums which you can see at http://www.yswc.tk i have a site which has not been updated in years at http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/turell/cb.html it has the guitars ive built along w/ some of my noise...

still havent fixed the blinking (or lack there-of) problem, but, a new one has arisen. i know there is a thread on "cold start" problems, but i dont think my isse is due to needing a different spark plug. Here's the issue: every time i start my scooter, i have to tuen the screws on the car...
