The 87 mount requires the least modification, and the rubber bumper on the mount lines up with the spree frame-hole. The newer mounts are too tall and require shortening to fit properly. I wish I had pics to go with... I always forget to take pics untill everything is together...

Well, I had to go check to confirm, but my stock af16 fan is black. I thought about getting a koso fan, but the horror stories outweighed the pretty colors. I never put any more thought into it than that.
