Re: Installed Polini 72cc kit on '94 SA50...Runs well then s

You obviously have no clue what you are doing let alone saying. I am adding this to an old post for future users to read and learn. You obviously have no clue as to what you are doing and must be DOL with nothing better to do. My bike was built right and tested. You obviously have no clue as to how...

Re: Any experience with this BBK? Looks like a good deal....

Greetings: That'd be Flash 3.1. The Nicasil bore is incredibly durable. It survived the deeply wrong-headed rookie Wheelman jetting errors like a champ - I mean coast-down temps teasing and OVER 500 degrees! Never a hiccup. The downside is that as Jamz stated: It ain't no Corsa. Despite its 78cc di...

Re: 65 mph spree build

If I were going to try for 65mph both motors would be needed to reach max speed. The way I would gear it for top speed would be with a smaller sprocket (30t) it has a 54t right now. I have the 30t but its more fun with the 54 for zipping around. anyways the way it would work if I put the 30t on is ...

Re: SpreeY-6 swap and new guy intro

Well, I for one really dig this swap, and after looking at it, will likely change the approach I've taken at the same engine swap. And your Ruckus...*drool* Keep up the good work, and take lot's of pictures :nerd: .

Re: 65 mph spree build

Even if the sidecar can go 65, the stock gears in the 2stroke will act as a speed limiter. You can only turn so many rpm before you just can't get any more air through the engine. At that point the other engine will be dragged down by the "main" engine. I think it looks fun, dangerous, and...

Re: SpreeY-6 swap and new guy intro

Welcome! This is quite an active board, and you sure seem like our kinda folk; totally obsessed with scooters and other small motorized playthings. I'm glad you've moved up from "lurker" to "member". This makes me want to complete my 139qmspree... Looks great. I can't wait to see...

Re: longer kickstarter?

That extra leverage isn't needed no matter the size of the motor, but I'd bet it does put a little extra force on your kicker gears inside the case... Cons outweigh the pros in my opinion. ... err, no. The amount of strain on the gears is more determined by: 1) The rotational resistance of the engi...

Re: WORTH IT ?

Despite it's shortcomings in the combustion per revolution department, I've heard legends of 100,000mi+ Elite 80 engines that saw no more than basic maintenance. As long as you change the oil, it may well last you forever (or close enough to it).

Re: WORTH IT ?

Although the elite 80 is not the best looking scooter on the market, it is often touted as the most reliable scooter ever. I'd pay $75 for that.

Re: longer kickstarter?

:bowrofl: Short threads? we'z not so good at that. But, as Trafficjamz corrected me in saying, I have an Urban Express kicker on my dio powered spree, it's at least 2 inches longer. Whether or not the extra length is needed, I for one think the long kicker looke kinda cool... I'll snap a pic tomorrow.

Re: longer kickstarter?

I used a Honda Express or ExpressII kick lever, it's way longer and makes it very easy to kick over.

I really wish trolls would at least learn basic punctuation. It's hard to call someone names when you cannot even use language effectively...

Very nice on the adapter! You're making me want to dig out my nq50 engine and finally put a crank in it...
