In my state it is illegal to tow anything with a scooter that is not licensed and insured. You have to have your trailer registered and insured as well. Just food for thought before you invest Id call the locals.

Re: Wideband o2 sensor to tune scooter
Wideband O2 sensors from koso for 2 strokes have a screen meshing around the sensor probe, at least the one I was looking at from Koso did. Maybe you can do that as well.

Re: Polini Corsa warranty
I think the guy I got it from knows what hes doing with a tiny little engine. This is old school tech, heat cycling isn't anything but patience. I wasn't there for it so I honestly don't know but I have a lot of confidence in the guy, hes a good man to know. I'm not Mr. Mechanic, I'm Mr. Genetics an...

Re: Polini Corsa warranty
Plug chopping is how I bent up the CHT sensor and didnt think it was that bad until I removed the fan shroud and saw the pool of oil on the head, melt down had happened by that point. I thought it was doing ok on the plug chops but i think not. Next time I build with the MHR it will be better, I jus...

Re: Polini Corsa warranty
The MHR was stronger by a lot. The case was ported prior to running the MHR, I had an air leak at the CHT and was hitting 10.5k+ with a 122 jet and an air leak. Thats what happened to the MHR. How do you suggest I hone that out Baka? It only lightly on there, no scoring that I can see. As soon as it...

Re: Three strikes, and out.
In Australia I have 2 Cz175 model 450s and a CZ350, all 1969s. Great motorcycles, I think theyre based off of a german design. Between me and the family we probably have 10 or so on the opal fields we own. Run KTMs, Huskys and CZs on them to get between the barrows. If you ever get a chance to buy o...

Re: Polini Corsa warranty
Ya Im sure youve seen many break, I know 5 people in the area with Corsa not a single problem brother. You saw one on here online that was broke and now you think youve seen many. Im not trying to start an argument here but if you research Malossi all you see is problems. Thats all I see and thats a...

Re: Polini Corsa warranty
Let me be clear Keith from Red Eft is a great seller, between me and my neighbor we spent near $600 with him. Just had a bunch of bad luck with the malossi stuff. Those breaks in the casting arent from bad tuning, its from lack of chamfering, how ever the melted piston was from the CHT fitting being...

Polini Corsa warranty
I just got my second Corsa today, first one I didnt port or chamfer it. The guy I sold the scoot with it on is still running it hard everyday so I know its not necessary but is it a good idea being as Polini will actually warranty there product not like Malossi. But if I modify it the warranty is vo...

Re: AF05E Malossi 47 mm BBK installed
I got an AF05e with a malossi BBK on it for free because he didnt chamfer the bore, make sure you chamfer the ports or you will have the cylinder chip away at the ports, scar the piston and bore and ruin it. I wouldnt use the stock carb if possible either. At least use a 100 jet, that malossi jet is...

Re: looking at a two stroke scooter
The 12 " wheel case is the same thing as a AF18 long case to a AF16 short. Its a fast engine, I think the gearing is like 14:1. They rev really high, and have a good amount of low end. Youre gonna spend as much on it as the elite, Oh and spark plug changes are fun on those engines, lol. Its rig...

Re: looking at a two stroke scooter
Its a Jog Clone. Good engine, but the scooter itself isnt that great of a build. One of my friends got one a few years back and starter went out 3 times in 1 year.
