Did you check compression? If to high for pump gas it will make your motor run hot.

Re: Fab Flash 7: Fabrizi 50mm Cylinder Kit

If your turning 10.5k rpms ,go with the 7.9 gears. Higher rpms like 11.5+ you can use the 8.44

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: Little Victories

Did you do a port map of the ports before install? Does anyone have port maps of the new kits?

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: Little Victories

Squeezing the center spring to check if still ok is not a accurate way. The spring can be dead in mid belt transfer under heat. Put a new center spring to confirm that the old spring is really dead or not. Malossi springs are notorious of dying like that. Even if using a torsion controller or roller...

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: CONTACT!

Looks good!. Yeah the pg pipes are good from 72-90cc with the rear insert intact. They were really designed to run on small stroker setups as pg doesnt have small cc cylinders

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: CONTACT!

Also measure the exhaust port opening flange side and see what diameter it is. By the looks it looks to be about 26-27mm

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: CONTACT!

The pg short and scorp should work fine. They are for 72-90cc setups. The pg has a wider powerband tuning wise than the scorp but the scorp will rev way higher(up to 12.5k) than the pg but you sacrifice the wide powerband. Both should work fine

Re: Flash 7 Cylinder Kit: CONTACT!

Does the combustion chamber protrude down from the head? The old ones use to sit inside the cylinder about 1mm. If it does you need to add base gaskets or use a thicker one. Then check squish clearance.

Using a laser temp gun. thats a very inaccurate way to check engine temp. the best is to use a cht gauge or egt. as soon as you ley iff the throttle, head temps will usua...

Re: shipping costs from japan?

not really sure if its that high. best way is to have the seller take the box with the engine in the box to their post office and get a quote. ems is the cheapest way to ship from asia to the US.
