Re: 90/90 Tires
never had any issue with the tire rubbing the center stand on my elite. just what bfowler was talking about... the centerstand fails to lift the back end enough to make the rear tire clear the ground.

Re: Please help right now I'm flip in out
you put a fatter main jet in but you can't change the pilot jet on the stock carb... with no air filter this makes the motor run precariously lean at anything under full throttle... I am pretty sure you have experienced soft seizing.

Re: 90/90 Tires
I have put a 3.50x10 and a 90/90 on the back of my '01 sa50. with a true rim it is not a problem. if the rim is out of true though there is a good chance of it rubbing. As far as I can tell the 90/90 and the 3.50x10 are very close to the same size. The 90/90 might be a little narrower. And I agree w...

I also have troubles with the threads on the block. I'm going to use timesert and recap them. I am planning on buying the M6 x 1.00mm set with a guide. When I do this should I do it with a drill? Free hand? I really don't want to mess this part up. I have not used timeserts... I am guessing the hol...

Re: sa50 gears?
take the rear gear cover off and take all the gears out of there and you will see where they go. one of them you will need a press to unmount the old one and remount the new one. pretty self explanatory once you get the old gears out and have a look... you don't need pics.

Re: Tire tube help
On my 01 sa50 with a v8 exhaust I have always put the stem facing the exhaust... oh but I don't have plastics so I guess with plastics it might be easier on the drive side.

Re: Tire tube help
+1 on what mike said... I have used several sizes(2.00x10, 2.50x10) with the same stem setup. I've had no problems.
