Any posters on here live in or around Los Angeles, CA?

If so, where?
I think it would be awesome to get a small group together and go on weekly rides or something.
Maybe we can even help each other out with whatever we're working on!

Anyone?

Re: Stock mirror alternatives

I'm especially interested in "DIY"-type mirrors. If you made it yourself, I wanna see it! I ran into a problem with my new Spree today which was created by somebody doing a DIY. When I bought the scooter, there was a really classy mirror, on one side, nothing on the other. The former owne...

Re: Stock mirror alternatives

Those are really nice. C'mon guys, post 'em. Not much out there. After all, mirrors are to look "through" not "at". I do have one set of chrome round mirrors, but the arms don't extend out enough to make them truly functional. So I replaced them with some solid black ones that a...

Stock mirror alternatives

I wanna see some not-so-stock mirrors. Whether you found some cool ones that screwed right on, or you crafted your own; I wanna see 'em!

Thanks guys.

Re: What type of lock should I use to lock up my Spree?

Anyone have any suggestions for an affordable alarm system?
And, where does everyone mount theirs?

I'm learning more and more as I go through everything on this board.
I love it.

Re: What type of lock should I use to lock up my Spree?

Anyone?

Also, can someone maybe list a few websites that sell moped alarm systems that are good, but affordable.
(I'm looking to spend like maybe $70-$80.)

THANKS!

Re: Drink holders...

I like the water bottle cage idea.
My legs are a bit long, so I don't think I have enough room to mount it on the inside of the front fairing, but maybe I can mount it on the top of the outside? Thoughts?

Drink holders...

Anyone here ever attached a drink holder to their moped?
If not, any ideas as to how to make this happen?

Thanks!

What type of lock should I use to lock up my Spree?

And also, anyone have any ideas on how to lock up a 1/2 face helmet? Thanks! EDIT: I just found an older thread that discussed an alarm system and a U-lock. And I was thinking about maybe drilling a hole in the back of my helmet and slipping a U-lock through it, and then maybe I could lock it to the...
