Does anyone know will an aftermarket rear shock from a Ruckus work on an '85 Aero? I found one cheap and was just wondering. Do you know the exact length? Wow - looking at Sip Scootershop and that is a strange site, a mix of German & English. If those prices are in US dollars they are reasonable though.

Greetings: Welcome, Boojadean! Stock Aero piston was 41mm. There was an off-brand (Taiwanese?) 46mm bore kit somewhere - maybe VTCycles? - at one time. If the cylinder/piston are scored, it may be tough replacing individual items, because and oversize piston may or may not exist. There are 47mm AF0...
