Removing stuck cylinder on Express SR
I am having trouble removing the cylinder on my 1981 Honda Express SR. The cylinder is stuck to the crankcase. From the looks of it, the cylinder may never have been removed since 1981. Before I ignore the Workshop manual which says clearly "Do not pry between the cylinder and crankcase or stri...

Download the factory workshop manual from this site below for free, and it will show you the location of the idle mixture screw on the carb.. it will also tell you how to properly set the idle speed and many other things you will need to know: http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Downloads/Downloads.htm...

Salvage yards
I went over to the motorcycle and scooter junkyard in Floral City last week to see what they had for Honda Scooters.. The junkyard is organized well enough so all Honda Scooters are in one section.. I guess they had about a dozen Honda scooters, mostly picked over. If there is a Guinness record for ...

both, I guess.. I have only owned Meridens, but would have liked to have later ones too.. down to only one now..and am almost too old to ride it. Honda scooters are more my speed now. Every time I make it home from riding the Triumph, I am lucky it didn't fall on me. http://vintagegarage.com/Triumph...

I think the best source for both tubes and tires for a Spree are your local Honda Powersports dealer. Both are still available, and the price is very reasonable, actually amazingly inexpensive and yet very good quality, in my opinion See: http://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/50bee99ef870023...

Re: Help starting 1987 Spree
Are you holding one of the brakes on while you push the starter button, and is the rear brake light on? The stock electrical system requires a brake to be on before the starter will spin.

Re: 1987 Honda SE50 Elite speedometer cable
The cable dimension section in wikispreedia indicates that the SA50 cable is only 1/8 inch difference in length than the SE50 cable and looking online, the SA50 cable is still available from Honda for less than $15. I do not know if the SA50 cable would work, but if it was me, I would take the gambl...

Re: 1986 Honda spree electrical questions.
Yes, you need to install and hook up the rear blinkers before the front ones will work. If the bulbs are good in the front ones, I think they will stay on instead of blink when you move the blinker switch off center until you install the rear blinkers. The oil pump is very reliable and most people d...

Re: 1986 Honda spree electrical questions.
Turn signals should work with the key on and the engine not running or running, but the headlight will only come on when the engine is running. Brake light should come on when you squeeze either handle, engine running or not. Starter won't work unless the key is on and a brake lever is held on. Spec...

Re: 1985 gyro s stator output
Dr_Craw has the right answer.. follow his 2nd link to get the workshop manual and then read the section 14-5. The voltage regular/rectifier is also involved and the specifications are spelled out in some detail. My rule of thumb is that if the headlight gets brighter when you rev up the engine, the ...

Re: 1984 Honda Aero
kev..not sure you read my post completely.. every thing you say is true, but it doesn't answer my question. I will try again. In the first picture, when the engine is fully warmed up and running, is air flowing through the non-blue clear hose?
