So I had a similar problem, my spree would only run for about 10 sec or once the starting fuel was all burnt up. I cleaned the dog * out of carb, soaked it the carb cleaner for 3 days .You really need to make sure its clean. There a few little holes in the carb that if blocked it will not run. Also ...

I guess I should feel blessed. My 84 does 30-32 flat and 35 down hill, sometimes I feel like it could go 40 if the hill was long enough lol. All stock just a good carb cleaning, plugs. etc.

Ive found several AF16 on Ebay. Their are also some members the af16 for sale. Word to the wise please dont buy those cheap CDI or Coils they sell on ebay. They only last a few weeks or months. I really enjoy the restoration projects. Especially being restored to their OEM glory is great. Its funny how just like civics and integras you swap the spree engine out for a AF16. I got a few more dollars to Aquire before I buy the dio swap if it doesnt get sold by then.
